FaceTwin compares selfies with a small index of public figures built from freely licensed Wikimedia Commons photos. We keep only a numeric face descriptor, the person’s name and the photo attribution. Public figures do not endorse FaceTwin, and we never generate images of them.

Remove a person from the index

If you are a person in the index, or act for them, email support@getfacetwin.com with the subject “Takedown request”, the name as shown in the results, and your relationship to the person. We remove the entry within 7 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email. No proof of identity is needed for removal.

Photo credits

If you are the author of a Commons photo and the credit we display is wrong, tell us and we will fix it or stop displaying the thumbnail.

To report a generated image or anything else on FaceTwin, email us with a description and, if possible, a link. We review every report within 3 working days.
