One selfie, three answers
People search for three different things when they look at a selfie: who do I look like, how do my features measure up, and what would I look like as a drawing. Every other site answers one of those questions, usually after asking you to upload your photo to their server. FaceTwin answers all three from the same photo, and the two free answers are computed entirely inside your browser.
| What you get | Price | |
|---|---|---|

| Full report | Every insight explained for you + hair, glasses, colours and photo angles, PDF | 30 credits |
How our AI face analysis works
When you choose a photo, a compact face model (about 12 MB, cached after the first visit) loads into your browser. It finds your face, checks that it is usable — exactly one face, roughly frontal, large enough — and places 68 landmarks on your brows, eyes, nose, lips and jaw. From those points we compute geometry you can see: symmetry across your midline, golden-ratio proportions, facial thirds, the tilt of your eyes, the angle of your jaw and your face shape. The same model also turns your face into a 128-number descriptor, which we compare with descriptors of more than 2,300 public figures to find your lookalikes.
Nothing in that process needs a server. You can switch off your Wi-Fi after the model has loaded and the face analyzer keeps working. That is the core promise of FaceTwin: the free results never see the internet.
Built to be kinder and more transparent
- Every number is explained. Switch on the landmark overlay to see exactly what was measured on your photo.
- No black-box beauty model trained on strangers’ ratings — just geometry, weighted openly.
- Positive, practical language. A score describes proportions, never your worth.
- No weekly subscription, no login wall in front of your score, no ads.
- Adults only, own photo only. We never generate images of celebrities.
Your privacy, in plain words
Free results: your photo, landmarks and face descriptor stay in this browser tab and are erased when you close it. We do not log them, and our analytics only record anonymous page views and button clicks — never scores, matches or images.
Paid results: when you ask for an AI portrait or the full report, you sign in with Google and tick a separate consent. Your photo is then uploaded once to our AI provider, used to create that one result, and deleted immediately. The result stays in your account for seven days and is then deleted automatically. Read the details in our biometric policy.
Frequently asked questions
What is FaceTwin?
FaceTwin turns one selfie into three results: your top five celebrity lookalikes, a 1–10 face analysis with six measured insights, and an AI caricature in six styles.
Is my photo uploaded?
Not for the free results. The face model runs inside your browser, so your selfie, its landmarks and its face descriptor never leave your device. Only if you choose a paid portrait or report do we upload the photo once, after a separate consent, and delete it right after generation.
What is free?
Celebrity lookalikes, the face analysis, the landmark overlay and the share cards are free with no account. Your first AI portrait is free with Google sign-in.
What costs credits?
Additional AI portraits (10 credits) and the full styling report with PDF (30 credits). Packs start at $4.99 for 50 credits. No subscription.
Who can use FaceTwin?
Adults (18+) analysing their own photo. Please don’t upload photos of other people.
