How does the celebrity parents generator work?

Upload one front-facing selfie. A face model running in your browser places 68 landmarks on your face and turns it into a 128-number face descriptor, then compares it with the descriptors of 2,333 public figures built from openly licensed Wikimedia Commons photos. The three closest women become your celebrity “mom” picks and the three closest men your celebrity “dad” picks, each with a similarity percentage and the features you share, such as face shape, brows or jaw. Tap “Share my celebrity parents” to save a card with your photo and both lists for TikTok or Instagram. It is a game about resemblance only — a look-alike is not a relative — and it is free with no account; the photo never leaves your device.

What you get

ResultWhat it shows
Celebrity mom (top 3)The three women in our list of 2,333 public figures whose faces are closest to yours, with a % match
Celebrity dad (top 3)The three men whose faces are closest to yours, with a % match
WhyThe measured traits you share with each match — face shape, eye tilt, brows, jaw, lips or spacing
Share cardA 1080 × 1350 image with your photo and both lists, made on your device

The similarity score is a friendly percentage of how close two face descriptors are. In practice a best match lands around 80%; anything above 85% is an unusually close resemblance.

How to do the celebrity parents trend

  1. Open this page on your phone and tick the 18+ box — the tool is for adults using their own photo.
  2. Upload a clear, front-facing selfie in soft light, with your hair away from your face and no sunglasses.
  3. Wait a few seconds while your face is compared on your device, then scroll through your mom and dad picks.
  4. Tap “Share my celebrity parents” and post the card, or screen-record the results appearing.
  5. Try a second photo — lighting and angle change the matches, which is half the fun.

Why your celebrity parents can change between photos

Face descriptors react to lighting, head angle, expression, glasses and how close the camera is. A smiling photo and a neutral one can give different matches, and a selfie at arm’s length looks different from one taken across the room. For the most stable result, use a straight-on photo at eye level and compare the top three rather than the first name. Hair, makeup and style matter a lot to how people see resemblance but much less to the face model, so your match may surprise you.

Privacy: your photo stays on your phone

The celebrity parents generator uses the same on-device matching as FaceTwin’s look-alike finder. The face model loads into your browser once (about 12 MB, cached), and the comparison happens there: your selfie, its landmarks and its descriptor are never sent to our server, and closing the tab erases them. You can check it yourself by loading the page, switching off your connection and running it again. Celebrity photos come from Wikimedia Commons under their stated licences, and public figures can be removed on request.

A note on fair play

Results show resemblance only. They do not suggest anyone is related to anyone, and they say nothing about the people listed, who do not endorse FaceTwin. Please use your own photo, or a friend’s with their permission, and keep it light.

Frequently asked questions

Who are my celebrity parents?

Upload a selfie above: FaceTwin compares your face with 2,333 public figures in your browser and shows the three women and three men you look most like as your celebrity “mom” and “dad”.

Is the celebrity parents generator free?

Yes. The matches and the share card are free with no account and no watermark.

Is there a celebrity parents filter for TikTok?

This is a web tool rather than an in-app filter: get your results here, save the share card or screen-record it, and post it to TikTok or Instagram.

Does it mean I am related to them?

No. It only measures how similar faces look. A resemblance is not a family connection.

How accurate is it?

It is a fun comparison, not identity recognition. Matches depend on your photo’s lighting, angle and expression, so try two or three selfies and compare the top picks.

Can I use a photo of someone else?

Please use your own photo, or a friend’s with their permission. The tool is for adults.

Is my photo uploaded?

Not for local lookalikes or face analysis: the model runs in your browser, so your selfie, landmarks and descriptor stay on your device. AI portraits, including the first free one, and full reports send your photo through our server to the AI provider after sign-in, a credit purchase or a free-preview request and separate upload consent. Reports also send your numeric measurements. FaceTwin does not save the original photo; it is discarded from request memory after processing.
