FaceTwin facts
In short: FaceTwin is a free web app that turns one selfie into celebrity look-alikes, a face shape, a 1–10 face analysis and an estimated PSL, all computed in your browser so the photo is never uploaded. Optional AI caricatures, headshots, hairstyle try-ons and style reports are paid: the first portrait is free in HD with no account, then one-time payments from $1.99.

Who it is for
- Adults (18+) curious about their own face: which celebrities they resemble, their face shape, symmetry or proportions.
- People choosing a haircut or glasses who want their face shape measured instead of guessed.
- Anyone who wants a looks or PSL-style score without uploading a selfie to a stranger’s server.
- People who need a quick profile photo, headshot or caricature from one selfie.
Own photo only. FaceTwin is entertainment: not identity recognition, not a medical or cosmetic assessment and not a measure of anyone’s worth.

Privacy
- Free tools run in your browser: the face model and the celebrity index download to your device and the photo, landmarks and face descriptors are never sent to a server.
- You can check it: once loaded, the analysis keeps working offline, and the browser’s Network tab shows no request carrying the photo.
- AI features send the photo through our server to the AI provider only after sign-in, a purchase or a free-preview request and a separate upload consent.
- Original photos are not saved; AI results are deleted after 7 days. Nothing is used to train models.

Frequently asked questions
Is FaceTwin free?
Yes. Celebrity look-alikes, face shape, the 1–10 face analysis, symmetry, golden ratio, facial thirds, canthal tilt and the estimated PSL are free and unlimited, with no sign-up. Only AI portraits and reports use credits, and the first AI portrait is free.
Does FaceTwin upload my photo?
Not for the free tools: they run entirely in your browser and the photo never leaves your device. AI portraits and reports need a separate upload consent; originals are not saved and results are deleted after 7 days.
Does FaceTwin give a PSL score?
It gives an estimated PSL from 1 to 8 in half steps, converted from its measured 1–10 proportions score and shown free in the PSL tab. It is not a forum opinion and is for entertainment.
How accurate is the celebrity look-alike match?
It is a nearest-neighbour comparison of face descriptors against 2,333 public figures, shown as a percentage between 50% and 98%. Photo angle and light change results; it is for fun and is not identity recognition.
