What is a free alternative to Qoves?

Qoves Studio is a paid service. On its site, you upload photos through a portal (front, both side profiles and a quarter profile), the Qoves team reviews them, and you receive a personalized report with more than 160 assessments, a non-surgical improvement protocol and a way to message the care team. The site says the analysis takes up to 28 days. It sells an annual membership; check its checkout for the current price. FaceTwin is a free alternative for the measurement step only. It is automatic and instant, runs in your browser, uses one front-facing selfie, and returns a 1–10 proportions score, a percentile against 1,196 reference faces, canthal tilt in degrees, jaw angle and symmetry, with the points drawn on your photo. There is no human review, no side-profile analysis and no protocol. Choose Qoves if you want expert opinion; use FaceTwin if you want a free first look.

  • Qoves: paid, human-reviewed, up to 28 days
  • FaceTwin: free, automatic, seconds
  • Qoves: 160+ assessments, several photos
  • FaceTwin: one selfie, not uploaded

How to use it

  1. Upload a selfie or take one: a front-facing, well-lit photo of yourself, no glasses, neutral expression.
  2. Wait a few seconds: the face model finds 68 landmarks in your browser; the photo is not uploaded.
  3. Read your 1–10 score and the six explained measurements.
  4. Try two more photos and average them for a steadier result.

When Qoves is the better choice

If you want a person to look at several angles of your face and explain what they see, and you are prepared to pay and wait for it, a service like Qoves can do something a free automatic tool cannot. Profile-based features such as chin projection and nose angle need side photos that FaceTwin does not analyze. A report with a written protocol is also a different thing from a score.

Be careful with any report that suggests procedures or treatments. Those are medical decisions for a qualified professional who has examined you; neither a website nor a score should make them for you.

When FaceTwin is enough

  • You want a free first look before deciding whether a paid report is worth it.
  • You are curious about a handful of well-known measures: symmetry, golden-ratio fit, facial thirds, canthal tilt, jaw angle.
  • You do not want to upload several face photos to a service or create an account.
  • You want the answer in seconds and the ability to retest after a haircut or a better photo.

FaceTwin shows the same kinds of numbers described in public facial-measurement guides, computed from 68 landmarks, and says plainly that scores are entertainment, not a measure of worth.

How FaceTwin’s measurements work

Your browser loads a face model, finds your face and places 68 landmarks. Five proportions are scored: symmetry over 26 mirrored pairs (30%), seven golden-ratio checks (20%), facial thirds (20%), canthal tilt (15%) and jaw angle (15%). The result is a 1–10 score and a percentile against 1,196 reference faces with a median of 7.2. Forehead height is estimated because the model has no hairline point, and we say so. No expert reviews it, so treat it as a screening tool.

Frequently asked questions

Is Qoves worth it?

That depends on whether you want expert review and a written protocol. Per its site, the report is human-reviewed and takes up to 28 days. If you only want measurements, a free tool may be enough.

How much does Qoves cost?

Its homepage describes an annual membership and sends you to checkout for the price, so we do not quote a number; check the site.

Is there a free version of Qoves?

We did not see a free version of the paid analysis on its homepage in November 2026. FaceTwin offers a free automatic analysis, which is a different, narrower product.

Does FaceTwin replace a human expert?

No. It measures proportions on one frontal photo. It cannot assess side-profile features, skin, or anything medical.

Does FaceTwin recommend procedures?

No. It never recommends surgery or treatments; any such decision is for a qualified professional.

Is FaceTwin affiliated with Qoves?

No. It is an independent site.

Is my photo uploaded?

Not for local lookalikes or face analysis: the model runs in your browser, so your selfie, landmarks and descriptor stay on your device. AI portraits, including the first free one, and full reports send your photo through our server to the AI provider after a free first-portrait request or a credit purchase, and separate upload consent. Reports also send your numeric measurements. FaceTwin does not save the original photo; it is discarded from request memory after processing.
